Spatial Planning
Designing room layouts, including kitchens and bathrooms, to make the most appropriate and efficient use of the available space; production of floor plans and elevations, design of custom-made cabinetry and assessment of storage solutions.
Lighting
Carefully considered lighting that takes into account the three basic types (ambient, task and accent) is critical to any successful interior. We will make recommendations, produce electrical plans as well as source and supply appropriate light fittings.
Scheme Design, Sourcing & Purchasing
Working collaboratively with our clients, we design room schemes that include fabrics for all soft furnishings, flooring, wall coverings, furniture, light fittings, and decorative accessories. We place and monitor orders on our client’s behalf to ensure that items, especially those with long lead time, are delivered on time.
Custom-made Soft Furnishings & Upholstery
We design and oversee the production and installation of beautiful, handsewn curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings.
On Site Coordination
Whatever the size and scope of the project, we can recommend architects, project managers, builders, joiners and other appropriate trades and coordinate as necessary. We take an active role on site to ensure work runs as smoothly as possible and the highest standard of finishes are attained.
Our Process
Initial Consultation
The process always starts with a meeting with our client on site to discuss their key requirements. Listening to and understanding their needs is critical; the clearer the brief, the better the finished result. Following this meeting, we will send through a fee proposal outlining the services we will provide and how we will charge for them.
Design Development
Once we have established a clear idea of our client's requirements and desired style, we produce scale plans and elevations showing furniture layouts, lighting and electrical plans that give a clear visualisation of the finished space. At the same time we develop room schemes, including detailed selections of furniture, paint colours, fabrics, flooring, accessories and soft furnishings. This is a collaborative process with regular communication required. Once all items are chosen detailed estimates are provided.
Implementation & Installation
We are happy to work with contractors selected by our clients or by those that we recommend. We will work closely with all parties involved and monitor progress on site. This allows us to ensure work is progressing on schedule and to the desired standard. It also allows us to schedule the ordering and delivery of all carefully selected finished products.
Project Completion
We will be there to assist to the very end from the hanging of artwork to placing cushions on sofas. The finer details are critical to success and we will not rest until we are certain that our clients are 100% happy.
