This beautiful and quirky apartment in an old mansion in the countryside outside Edinburgh was both a challenge and a joy to work on. A joy because our client had a clear vision of how she wanted her home to look and feel and we worked in happy collaboration to create the home of her dreams. A challenge because it ran over the lengthy lockdown period so the majority of our sourcing and our communication was carried out online.

Over the course of a couple of years, working with building team MacKenzie Hughes LTD, the apartment underwent a total refurbishment. In the end it was transformed from a tired, cluttered home to a characterful, colourful and comfortable one. Hope you enjoy seeing the result!
