Country House, East Linton

This client had two stages to their project: The first was a small conservatory that was in a terrible state. They had ambition to turn it into an informal dining area but there was no heating so we designed a way of introducing radiators without loosing valuable wall space by installing them underneath the bench seats (which were designed around us finding the perfect sized dining table). Three glass pendant lights replaced the existing overhead fan and blinds were designed and made out of a combination of fabrics and trimmings that created enough interest without being overbearing.

The second stage was a full refurbishment of the bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The ensuite was extremely small so the room was stripped out, bespoke shelving and a vanity unit were designed which, combined with the use of a large mirror that filled the space above the basin, and a neutral but light colour scheme, helped to maximise the feeling of space.
